It’s been sometime since I’ve last posted. So much has changed and the days have been passing at the speed of light. I hope to start posting more, as it’s an outlet for all that is going on. This blog might be a little different. There will be some style, books, my hamster, outfits, some soap box complaining about the difficulties of managing a team, coffee shops, my progression on going back to school while working full-time, and a little bit about my relationship (at his approval).

It’s June but I’m not sure Mother Nature got the memo
It’s June but the last two days have been in the low 60s and upper 50s, Wisconsin weather gotta love it! The cool air, rain drizzle, and fog over the lake puts me in a fall frame of mind. I start thinking about warm chunky cable knit sweaters, leggings, boots, hot drinks, a good book, and a relaxing place to sit.
PS. I apologize for the poor looking fashion board, I didn’t have my laptop with Photoshop with me
Outfit – Spring in the North
Spring in Wisconsin, it means you have to be ready for heat, cold, rain, floods, and snow storms. And no, I’m not joking about the snow storm part, it’s happened before. I think I carry more extra clothes around in Spring than any other season. I can go to Lake Michigan in the morning wearing a jacket and pants, then drive out to my in-laws in Muskego and have to change into a skirt and a tank top. It’s just all around crazy weather. But it can be a little fun when you get to experience 4 season in one week 🙂
This outfit would be for a normal weekend day (I work all week and have no time to go anywhere. I live for the weekends)maybe start out at home on my balcony listening to the birds and the trains or at a coffee shop watching people be anti-social taping away on their computers. Then downtown for some grocery shopping and a walk. And who knows maybe I’ll end my evening at my mom’s, my dad’s or my in-law’s for a bonfire.
Two outfits, sometimes the second outfit is in the car and sometimes I go home in between to change.

Outfit of the week – New Work Dress
I have to admit I’m a little nervous with this post because instead of a fashion board, it’s an outfit that I’m wearing.
The dress is comfy, fits great, and looks professional enough that I can wear it to work…. Once the weather warms up and stays above 35 for more than 2 days.
I was wondering if my husband would ever take the picture.
Dress (Maurices) | Bracelets (Pura Vida ) | Heels, Necklace and Earrings (Mine)
Pepper, he insisted he to be in pictures
Now that his picture is being taken, he doesn’t look so happy.
The bracelets I have on are from Pura Vida, I wear these 2 whenever my brother is deployed. The are very durable, I’ve had them on this time about 3 months straight.
Maybe I’ll do more outfits instead of fashion boards, if it gets warm out.
Pictures taken by my husband, Adam.
Outfit of the Week – Versatile Outfit for my Sister-in-law
For this weeks outfit I wanted to create something for my sister-in-law. I was trying to figure out an outfit with the colors she likes and pieces that can be fashioned with clothing she already has. Plus, I wanted find some pieces that she could wear together as an outfit for when my brother comes home from deployment.
So here are the clothing pieces I came up with. I might have gone a little over board with the jewelry/accessories but you can never go wrong with having plenty of options for icing on your outfit!
