Spring in Wisconsin, it means you have to be ready for heat, cold, rain, floods, and snow storms. And no, I’m not joking about the snow storm part, it’s happened before. I think I carry more extra clothes around in Spring than any other season. I can go to Lake Michigan in the morning wearing a jacket and pants, then drive out to my in-laws in Muskego and have to change into a skirt and a tank top. It’s just all around crazy weather. But it can be a little fun when you get to experience 4 season in one week 🙂
This outfit would be for a normal weekend day (I work all week and have no time to go anywhere. I live for the weekends)maybe start out at home on my balcony listening to the birds and the trains or at a coffee shop watching people be anti-social taping away on their computers. Then downtown for some grocery shopping and a walk. And who knows maybe I’ll end my evening at my mom’s, my dad’s or my in-law’s for a bonfire.
Two outfits, sometimes the second outfit is in the car and sometimes I go home in between to change.
For the Day:
Whatever you do today, make sure you enjoy it!
This Saturday I will be attending a wedding as a guest. This is the first time in about 4 years that I’ve been a guest instead of in the wedding party. So, I get to have the fun of actually picking out what I want to wear and how I want to do my hair! But, like normally I’ve decided to wait until now, 3 days before, to figure out what I’m going to wear! This outfit is something that would be fun to wear to the wedding but would probably wouldn’t work since its going to be about 50 degrees. But that really doesn’t matter much, since the last wedding I stood up in was on New Years Day, there was snow, it was 20 degrees out and we were wearing this dress (but in purple) outside taking pictures for about an hour. I was freezing!
On to the outfit!
Dress | Earrings | Necklace | Bracelets | Heels | Hair | Nails | Rings |Clutch
Hair – I don’t do my hair… at all, so a wedding is a great time for me to splurge and pay to get my hair done. Hopefully it will look a little like this, but with extensions because my hair is above my shoulders.
Dress – So freakn’ Cute! and it looks comfy but still dressy!
And because I love to go overboard on my fashion boards, Some ideas of things to take for the night stay after the wedding, plus day after outfit idea
PJs | Sunglasses | Hat | Tunic | Leggings | Shoes | Bag
Ok, I went a little overboard and now I want all of these things from Forever 21!
For this weeks outfit I wanted to create something for my sister-in-law. I was trying to figure out an outfit with the colors she likes and pieces that can be fashioned with clothing she already has. Plus, I wanted find some pieces that she could wear together as an outfit for when my brother comes home from deployment.
So here are the clothing pieces I came up with. I might have gone a little over board with the jewelry/accessories but you can never go wrong with having plenty of options for icing on your outfit!
Dress |Bolero | Shirt | Skirt | Blue Shirt | Shorts | Shoes
Purse(1) | Bracelets(2) | Earrings(3) | Earrings(4) | Necklace Set(5) | Sunglasses(6)
Its cold outside, like water freezes when it hits the ground cold out right now. It makes me wonder why I haven’t moved south yet. But while I count the days till summer here is a very pink (happy color!) beach outfit. Enjoy!
1. Swim Suit – Pink Pink Pink!!
2. Dress – interesting dress from VS, kind of cool
3. Sandals – very sparkly sandals, great for the beach and dinner
4. Beach Towel – Ron Jon Surf Shop! Enough said
5. Tote – plenty of room for everything you need for a day at the beach
6. Sunglasses – don’t let the sun hurt those eyes, wear a stylish pair of shades
7. Pouch – easy way to keep the precious items in your tote in one place (i.e. keys, phone, wallet, jewelry)
8. Bracelets – I love these, I have one in yellow and the air force one. I wore them every day that my brother was deployed and they held up through showers and everything
9. Earrings – these are cute and simple
10. Sunscreen – apply, re-apply, re-apply keep your skin protected!
Some other things I’d bring that are not in the picture: Water, fresh fruit, a book.
Have a great day and think SUN!
