It’s June but the last two days have been in the low 60s and upper 50s, Wisconsin weather gotta love it! The cool air, rain drizzle, and fog over the lake puts me in a fall frame of mind. I start thinking about warm chunky cable knit sweaters, leggings, boots, hot drinks, a good book, and a relaxing place to sit.
Sweater, Leggings, Boots, Bag
This outfit looks so comfy but I hope I don’t need to bother with heavy clothing for a couple of months. Summer where are you??
PS. I apologize for the poor looking fashion board, I didn’t have my laptop with Photoshop with me
Lightly the rain covers the leaves, grass, roses, sidewalk, and road. The gentle breezy brings the fresh moist air into my window. Everything outside is being cleansed by the cool water as my spirit is being up lifted by the smell and calming sound of the rain drops.
Recently, I haven’t been inspired to post anything and I’ve been a bit busy. The weather has gone from nice to cold too many times to count. The next month is jus filled to the top with family things. The only time I have to relax is the hour I work out a day and watch a recorded reality show. Otherwise it’s crazy and the days are only going to get more packed with hopefully warm weather, festivals, music in the park, pool time, on and on. But that’s ok, it keeps life going. I just have to remember to say No sometimes and make time for myself.
I have to admit I’m a little nervous with this post because instead of a fashion board, it’s an outfit that I’m wearing.
The dress is comfy, fits great, and looks professional enough that I can wear it to work…. Once the weather warms up and stays above 35 for more than 2 days.
I was wondering if my husband would ever take the picture.
Dress (Maurices) | Bracelets (Pura Vida ) | Heels, Necklace and Earrings (Mine)
Pepper, he insisted he to be in pictures
Now that his picture is being taken, he doesn’t look so happy.
The bracelets I have on are from Pura Vida, I wear these 2 whenever my brother is deployed. The are very durable, I’ve had them on this time about 3 months straight.
Maybe I’ll do more outfits instead of fashion boards, if it gets warm out.
Pictures taken by my husband, Adam.
Lucky me, I’m working from home today. But I did try to get to work and successfully got stuck 10 feet away from my apartment garage. It took 2 minutes to get stuck and 30 minutes to shovel and rock the car back into the garage. I really did need to go into work today but since they have closed all of the schools in three counties (Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha) not many people will make it into work either.
Some details on the pictures:
This is where the car was stuck looking at the garage. Like I said I did not get that far. I didn’t take pictures when it was stuck because I was too busy shoveling it out.
From the stuck car point looking at the road:
My shoveling job! Yes I shouldn’t complain but part of my rent is to pay for snow removal:
What spinning tires can do to clean the lot. A better job than me but at the loss of some rubber from my newish tires:
This tree is normally as tall if not a little bit taller than my 2 story apt building, but thanks to the heavy wet snow the tree is almost on the ground:
So if you are in the area please be careful on the roads. If you are off of school, go play in the snow!!
